The show is a full-length bluegrass tribute to the rock classic, conceived and produced by SXSW co-founder and longtime musician/producer Louis Jay Meyers.

The show brings a new perspective to Tommy while paying respect to its creators, who are reportedly delighted with the show.

The Hillbenders bring Pete Townsend’s original vision to life using banjo, dobro, mandolin, bass, guitar and rock star vocals.

Tickets range from $27 to $38, with children under 17 priced at $18. The show begins at 7 p.m.
